AndDrive is an independent service developed to integrate Android devices natively with macOS Finder, providing seamless file management and device mirroring capabilities.

1. Information Collection and Use
Important: AndDrive's core app experience operates locally between your Mac and your Android devices. We do not collect, store, or transmit the contents of your files, mirrored screen, audio, or clipboard data to our servers.
To provide its core functionality, AndDrive accesses your device data (files, screen, audio) locally through USB or Wi-Fi connections via ADB (Android Debug Bridge). This data never leaves your devices or your local network.
Because there is no account system or login requirement, we do not ask for or collect personal identifiers like email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
When you visit our website, we may collect aggregated website usage data through analytics tools to understand page visits, traffic sources, and general site performance. This website analytics data does not include the contents of your files or your in-app device activity.
2. Device Data Handling
The features provided by AndDrive require access to certain device capabilities, which are handled strictly under your control:
- Finder Integration: File operations (reading, writing, deleting, moving) are performed locally directly between your Mac and Android device. We do not intercept, cloud-sync, or back up any files to external servers.
- Mirroring & Universal Control: Screen and audio casting streams are transmitted locally with low latency. None of your screen activity or app usage data is recorded by us or sent anywhere outside your local Mac environment.
3. Third-Party Services
To improve app stability, understand website traffic, deliver fixes, and ensure the best experience, we use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics for aggregated website traffic and usage measurement
- Firebase Crashlytics
These services collect aggregated analytics events, anonymous crash logs, and non-personally identifiable diagnostic data needed to understand website usage and resolve app crashes. They do not provide us with the contents of your files, mirrored screen data, audio streams, or clipboard content.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Since AndDrive does not process user accounts or store user data on remote servers, no account deletion process is required. Any localized application settings, preferences, or cache can be completely removed from your Mac simply by uninstalling AndDrive and clearing its local application support directory.
5. Security
We value your privacy and security. By design, our architecture ensures that your data remains strictly confined to your own devices. Fast file transfers and screen mirroring occur via direct wired (USB) or wireless (Wi-Fi) connections, heavily isolating activity from the broader internet.
